Is that a tiny ray of hope at the end of the tunnel or the redundancy express hurtling in Albert Celades' direction? Cádiz just cant buy a win but at least there were signs of life on Saturday. The second half performance probably the best 45 minutes of football we have seen in 2026 but still ending in defeat. Girona have a squad far too good for segunda and it showed as they put away their chances when it mattered. Can Garcia Pascual start next week for Cádiz? Is Zárate pushing for a starting spot? Another disappointing home display produces an unsurprising loss to Las Palmas. We got the formation we wanted but the performance was just as bad, if not worse, than normal. Cádiz concede 3 in the first half in a disastrous 45 minutes and while looking much more solid in the second half thanks to some changes on the right side, it wasn't enough to stop a first defeat of the season. Another draw and another disappointing performance but Cádiz remain unbeaten. Cádiz remain unbeaten as we scrambled our way to a 2-2 draw in Elda. A first half that brought back memories of the worst bits of last year was a worrying start but Celades made some decent changes and we got ourselves back into the game. Some sort of normality returned, with a game of football, after the tumultuous week Cádiz have had. Albert Celades had 4 days to prepare for the arrival of Celta Vigo's B team and to be honest, he did a pretty good job. There were lots of good things to take away from the performance despite only gaining a point. The season preview is here! And it starts in a completely different tone to how it ends. Yes, in the middle of recording, Cádiz decided to sack Imanol Idiakez, the manager, throwing the whole pre-season and more importantly the podcast into total disarray!

Pre sacking we talk about the change of president and the transfer ins and outs before making our post sacking predictions for both Cádiz and the league and also talking a little bit about the laughing stock we have become before a ball has even been kicked. The curtain finally comes down on this calamitous season with another performance to forget.
