The same old defensive mistakes and total lack of any attacking threat were back with a vengeance as if the change of manager hadn't happened. Sergio González is back in the dugout and he brings us a first win since early January. Two early goals from rejuvenated looking Brian Ocampo and Yussi Diarra were enough for Cádiz to hold off Mirandés. We made hard work of it in the second half but the defence held strong, boosted by a return to action of the Serbian Wall, Bojan Kovacevic. Another awful game, losing at home to the bottom club Zaragoza meant the end of Gaizka Garitano's time in charge of Cádiz. We try and avoid talking about the game and concentrate on the change and what it will mean to the team. Sergio González comes in for his 2nd spell in charge and has a lot of work to turn the dressing room around and avoid slipping further into trouble. An absolute disaster-class in the Basque country as Cádiz lose 3-1 to Eibar and continue their awful run. With Matt away (hiding from how bad Cádiz are?) it's a slightly different podcast this week but he has sent in lots of audio for us to react to. An another abject Cádiz performance, going down 2-0 to the youngest side in the league was the catalyst for all the pent up frustration to finally explode. This felt like the complete rupture of any sort of connection between the fans and the manager, his days are now surely numbered despite many of the problems not really being his fault. Cádiz came away from El Plantío with a valuable point in a game where they deserved absolutely nothing. Sometimes you just need something to go your way and this could be a turning point. When it rains it pours. A postponed game finally got underway a day later but Cádiz couldn't break the losing habit.
