He leads the Daily Creative Habit community on Facebook and hosts the Creative Chats podcast. Mike is the first guest to be on Living Life Juicy twice.

I met Mike in 2009 at a conference called The Thing, where he was doing amazing live event sketching, where he captures the key moments and phrases in his unique visual style.

Tim Walther, a resident of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is a seasoned expert in Applied Psychology, Experiential Learning, and Team and Leadership Development. With over 25 years of experience, Tim has designed and delivered numerous national and global training programs. He's also served as the President of Grand Dynamics International, a company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, specializing in experiential training and development.

I first met Tim over 20 years ago at an experiential learning conference. He has never stopped pushing himself to learn more about human performance. His life is his lab.

We reconnected during COVID to explore the possibilities of using virtual tools to help people and teams reach their full potential. This work culminated in the ALL IN Cold Water Plunge on New Year’s Day 2021.

Ken Weisner of The Beach Play Company turns the tables and asks John 3 Questions

Our guest today is Ken Weisner, the founder and chief playmaker of Beach Play Company in Hilton Head Island, SC. Ken is another pandemic blessing. We got to know each other virtually through Zoom workshops. It was two years before we connected face-to-face at the AEE International Conference last year. The Beach Play Company brings fun and connection to organizations, businesses, and families. His energy is infectious, and give him a chance to tell you more about his journey. 

Living Life Juicy is a Podcast and YouTube Channel where I interview people from all different industries, positions, and perspectives who remain present and kind as they do great things.

In reality, it’s just a great excuse for me to talk with people I find interesting and who I think you need to know more about. From people in the movie industry to the last ringmaster from the largest circus. From an Imagineer to a restauranter. Actors, facilitators, entrepreneurs, and coaches. Wilderness guides and corporate leaders. In these interviews, we explore identity, transitions, and other topics that relate to all of us. 

We continue this in season 4. We chat with the chief playmaker from the Beach Play Company. The leader of Grand Dynamics, a person who lives his life as a lab from an organization that puts on amazing corporate events. A corporate “head hunter” who also encourages business leaders to find the adventure in what they do, and an insurance executive who left the corporate world to build a housekeeping enterprise.

We will also chat with artists, entrepreneurs, and community theater leaders who is also a realtor and local politician. There may even be a few surprises mixed in.

Innovative entrepreneur and all-around amazing person Jeannie Kim turns the tables on host John Losey and asks him 3 insightful questions about leadership and making an impact on society. 

Jeannie always had a dream to be in service to the community. Jeannie’s family immigrated from Korea to start a new life, opening a restaurant in San Francisco, where Jeannie experienced the life of an entrepreneur at age 12. Years later, after receiving her Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary (SFTS), she was pressed into taking over the family business to make ends meet as a single mother while she remained active in ministry. With no business background, she operated the restaurant like a church, caring for people and building relationships to become an award-winning 4-4.5 Star beacon in the San Francisco Mid-Market District. “I’ve never left the ministry. It took on a different form,” reflects Kim, who says she thinks of herself as providing pastoral care to her customers and employees, listening to their stories, and “feeding their souls.” Her entrepreneurship continued in the opening of the Fermentation Lab in Mid-market SF, Divine Indulgence Catering, and, most recently, work in the wine industry in Napa. In 2020, Jeannie earned the Distinguished Alumni Award from San Francisco Theological Seminary and now serves on both the Board of Trustees of the University of Redlands and the Board of Directors of SFTS. She also serves on the Mid-market Central Benefit District SF board and recently joined SF Farm Bureau.

Lucinda Martinelli is the creator and director of Whole Planet Consulting.  She has been creating and leveraging teachable moments since 1991 and holds a Master’s degree in Experiential Education from the University of Wisconsin.  As a master facilitator, trainer, and educator, she works with educators in schools and outdoor centers who want to build a collaborative culture, empower students to learn, and rekindle the joy of teaching and learning.
