As we continue we learn what is in this mysterious letter for Mr. H. Potter and an old friend pays a visit. Harry learns secrets from his past that were kept from him about his parents and who and what Harry is. 

We are back from the zoo and Harry has had his longest punishment ever in his cupboard, because of course he had something to do with the boa escaping.   Harry’s world is about to be rocked when he receives his first ever letter in the mail.  The Dursley’s world in turn is about to turn upside down.

Fast-forward a decade and we see Harry’s life living with the Dursleys. Strange things seem to have a habit of happening whenever Harry is around and talking to snakes falls directly into that category.

We open the series meeting several new characters and why everyone is so happy even though a small boy loses his parents.
