Today we are in Chapter 4:1-9 (NIV), of this great book and we shall discuss how they dealt with discouraging voices which sought to stall the work of God. We all face such voices each and we can respond better to these, learn from Nehemiah.

Nehemiah wasn't a quitter but a finisher and this was by choice. We are all faced with choices and Nehemiah will teach us to stay when we are tempted to run away. He will tell us how to deal with conflict.

If we are going to inherit what God has promised we will need, and require, more than faith! I’ll say that again just in case you think I said it wrongly! If we are going to see God at work and walk into his promises, we will need more than faith. You will also need patience!
