Episode 10 we talk with a lifetime friend of mine about life, things that he has done, and how our friendship is not affected by my disability. Some subjects are relationships, activities, and things we do on our free time. This was a podcast that was more about our friendship more than advice on how to overcome boundaries with a disability. Hope this help people to understand how people who have disabilities are just like everybody else and to not to treat us any different from everyone else. n this episode, I talk with Nathan about his experience with his disability and how he lives his live despite his limitations. When you have a disability there are always more steps to do before completing a task that should not take a long time, but due to having a disability it takes extra time. We also discuss how Nathan found out about power soccer and what he has learned during his time playing here in the state: as well as, his journey on the national team. Nathan tells us something that he learned though his US team experience and how it helps him achieve his goals in life. I have spent weeks of the last couple years helping at a soccer camp with him and I learned a lot more from talking to him on this episode. Talking with Wes about life and all sorts of things. Wes is a very close friend of mine. It is a great insight into who he is and what he does for living. I have learned a lot of things in my life and you never know where you will meet people that you will be great friends with. Wes is a perfect example. Episode 7 contains an interview with my last aide that I had before going to college. Kristen was great to be around and very helpful to my journey to my independents in life in a whole, but mainly for school. As well as, what it is like to be disabled in a schooling environment and having to keep up with my peers. Hopefully everyone who has a one on one aide has someone that will or did do for me. I also put some of the things that I had to deal with to get to having Kristen as an aide.
