IF YOU CAN USE ANYTHING
How many of us have prayed the prayer “Oh God, if You can use ANYTHING, use me?”
Isaiah 6:1 - 8
VERSE 5:
Isaiah, about to become one of the greatest prophets
“Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
This is our world TODAY – we dwell in the midst of a people of UNCLEAN lips. BUT IMMEDIATELY upon the cry of his heart, a seraphim flew to him and touched his mouth with a LIVE coal. OUCH!!! and purged his sin.
JESUS cleanses us from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, but we have to make the choice.
HEBREWS 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
WHEN THE LORD HAS THE HEART, HE CAN CHANGE THE BEHAVIOUR.
ROMANS 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Some people may change overnight, others it may be years. But here’s one thing God reminded me of. “We have to remember that those people who are only young in the Lord, maybe even a few years old in the Lord are not going to be where you and I are now” in other words, God is working on them, but they are not going to be acting like someone who has had 25 years of experience in the LORD. They are where we were when we first got saved and we know how rough around the edges we were. So don’t expect people to live how we should be living.” Sometimes I hear, well, they’ve been in the LORD now, so many years, they shouldn’t be doing that! David was King of Israel when he committed adultery… YET… God still said that David was a man after God’s own heart.
ACTS 13:22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David[a] the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.

Touch my heart, Lord and speak through me

I’ve prayed it many times… God, if you can use anything today LORD, please use me, use us. And then as your leading, God will speak to you and say, I want you to put your guitar down and take the microphone and walk done off the stage and worship me… and you’re like…that’s a silly thought… that’s not God… and continue to do your program.
What do you do when the LORD calls you? The LORD whispers your name “Janet, Janet”, not tonight LORD, I’m watching TV OR not tonight LORD I’m on my screen OR not tonight LORD, I’m tired, OR not tonight LORD, I don’t feel like it!!!
BUT GOD, if you can use anything USE me… and we get frustrated because God isn’t using us the way WE want Him to use us…
BE READY IN AND OUT OF SEASON!!!!
All He may want, is for you to pray for someone that God has placed on your heart OR knock on a table….
