What does it really mean to fix our eyes on Jesus—not just spiritually, but practically—in the middle of real life?
In this episode, I’m joined by Meg Hunter-Kilmer, speaker, evangelist, and author, to talk about her book Eyes Fixed on Jesus and the heart behind it. Together, we explore how developing a real, personal relationship with Jesus begins and grows through time spent in the Word of God.
We talk about the important difference between simply reading Scripture and truly praying with Scripture—allowing God’s Word to speak to us, form us, and meet us exactly where we are. Meg shares how her book intentionally points readers directly to Scripture, helping them become more comfortable opening the Bible and spending time with Jesus there, no matter their season of life or level of experience.
This conversation is an encouragement to anyone who has ever felt intimidated by Scripture, unsure how to pray with it, or distracted in their prayer life. We talk honestly about how Jesus meets us in the midst of ordinary, messy, beautiful life—and how fixing our eyes on Him again and again transforms everything.
Whether you’re new to Scripture or longing to go deeper, this episode is an invitation to slow down, open the Word, and encounter Jesus—who is always waiting to meet us there.

🎧 Listen in and be encouraged to lift your gaze, open the Scriptures, and begin again.
Before you take down the Christmas tree or pack away the lights—pause. The party is just getting started.
In this joyful episode of Living LIT—Living In Truth, Robyn sits down with Catholic children’s book author Katie Warner to talk about celebrating Christmas the Catholic way—as a season, not a single day.
Katie shares the inspiration behind her books Christmas Carols and My True Love Gave to Me, the latter beautifully introducing children to the meaning behind the 12 Days of Christmas. Together, they explore how story, song, and simple traditions can help families slow down, keep the focus on Christ, and enter more deeply into the Church’s rich liturgical rhythm.
This conversation will encourage you to:
Keep Christmas going beyond December 25 (the way it's meant to be savored and celebrated.)
Help children understand the faith through tradition and symbolism
Celebrate Christmastide with joy, intention, and simplicity
Embrace the Church’s calendar as a gift that teaches us how to rejoice well
Because the Catholic Church doesn’t rush the celebration—we super celebrate. And your home, your “little church,” is the perfect place to do it.

This one will leave you marveling at the faith like a child!

In today’s episode, Robyn sits down with Catholic children’s author Maura Roan McKeegan, known for her beautiful Old and New children's book series inspired by St Augustine’s insight that “the New Testament lies hidden in the Old, and the Old is unveiled in the New.”

This episode will introduce you to Biblical Typology (if you aren’t already familiar with it), and open your eyes to these amazing treasures nuggets that Our Lord so intentionally placed within Scripture - so you can bring this alive in your home.
Maura shares the inspiration behind the series, how to bring biblical truth to life, and why children are capable of understanding deep Scriptural connections when they’re presented simply and beautifully.
You’ll walk away with practical ideas for bringing Scripture alive in your domestic church, and helping your children (and you!) see Jesus woven through the story of salvation history.

In this episode of Living LIT—Living In Truth, Robyn is joined by Ken Ogorek, co-author (with Dr. Scott Hahn) of the Breaking the Bread series — a powerful resource created to help Catholics enter more deeply into the Sunday Mass readings.
Together, Robyn and Ken unpack how Scripture is not meant to be something we hear once and then forget, but a living Word that continues to form, feed, and lead us throughout the entire week. Ken explains how Breaking the Bread is both scriptural and catechetical, helping individuals, families, and catechists not only reflect on the readings, but truly understand and live the faith they proclaim.
This episode will inspire you to move beyond simply going to Mass and begin living from the Mass — allowing God’s Word to shape conversations, family life, priorities, decisions, and habits.
If you long to strengthen your Domestic Church, grow as a disciple, or learn practical ways to bring Sunday’s Gospel into everyday life, this conversation is for you.

Let’s do a bible study together! You’re invited to slow down, enter into Scripture, and prepare your heart for the coming of Christ—right from the comfort of your own home.
In this episode, Robyn is joined by Elisa Cordaro from the St. Paul Center, who shares all about Bible Study Across America, a nationwide initiative inviting families, parishes, and individuals to journey through Scripture together-starting now and through Advent.
The St. Paul Center, founded by Dr. Scott Hahn, exists to help Catholics fall in love with Scripture and live their faith more deeply. Elisa shares how the Center supports Catholics through studies, resources, formation, and encouragement (for the Little Church you call Home).
Together, Robyn and Elisa talk about:
What Bible Study Across America is and how to join
How to easily host or participate from home
Why Scripture matters deeply in preparing for Christmas
And as a bonus, Elisa shares a glimpse into her own newlywed Domestic Church — how she and her husband are building their marriage on faith, choosing to live liturgically in simple, joyful, intentional ways.
This is a beautiful, gentle, hope-filled invitation to let the Word dwell richly in your heart and home as we prepare to welcome Our Lord at Christmas and when He comes again.
