In this episode, I describe the thrilling, satisfying, and shortly thereafter terrifying realization that I have made it back to the edge of reality.
I share how it’s been going so far, exactly which edge of reality I’ve found myself on, and the lessons that just a week and a half of life on the edge has already taught me.
Living on the edge of reality forces growth and evolution like nothing else. So, I’m sharing a little about the experiences that have challenged me, enriched me, and reminded me that doing what’s never been done before is rarely easy.
Apparently, it’s hard to do what’s never been done before. Who knew? 😂
By any measure, this season is challenging me, and in this episode, I share how I’m trying to meet it with gratitude, learn all the lessons it’s teaching me and have a radical commitment to growth.
Theme verse: Isaiah 43:18-19 NASB
Theme song: Keep Going by Rachel Purcell
Bonus Song: God I’m Just Grateful by Chandler Moore
In this episode, I reflect on a change in my approach to life on the edge of reality. I’ve decided to stop holding myself hostage to having only big moments and start intentionally creating and appreciating the smaller ones.
As inadequate as small action can feel, I can’t think of one big moment that didn’t start with one. I’m continuing the journey to the edge of reality, but now I’m allowing myself to get there one tiny step at a time.
Theme verse: Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.
Proverbs 13:11 ESV
In this episode, I share how after having gotten burned by life, I got scared and started playing safe in hopes that I wouldn’t get burned again.
The issue with that is at some point I realized that “playing safe” was just me living in survival mode and not really going after the life that I really desired.
This episode is about me figuring out how to journey back to the edge of reality, but this time with a few upgrades. I’m trying to step back into living a life in fearless pursuit of my wildest dreams through surrendering control and trusting God, daring to dream and exploring what it could look like to take risks strategically instead of recklessly by keeping one eye on the long-term vision.
Theme song: Road Less Travelled by Joe L Barnes & Seph Schlueter
In this episode, I share what it has been like to find myself below rock bottom. Life has beat the crap out of me. It has hit me harder than I knew it could, and I don't know exactly how to move forward yet.
This is my story of trying to survive when it feels like everything is falling apart—and the small things I'm clinging to as I keep putting one foot in front of the other.
It's simply about where I am right now, and what I'm holding onto while I try to survive one day at a time.
Theme Song: Sunday Sermons by Anne Wilson
Bonus Song: Breakdown by Andrew Ripp
In this episode, I share what it has been like to live on the edge of financial reality—taking risks, chasing big dreams, and learning what happens when those risks don't pay off.
I reflect on what it’s been like to pursue big goals while dealing with the consequences of both success and failure—because they both come with consequences.
I’m letting you in on my journey of figuring out how to move forward with both faith and wisdom while walking the tightrope between financial stewardship and quixotic dreaming.
Theme Scripture: Hebrews 11:1
Theme Song: Out Of My Hands by Jeremy Camp
In this episode, I share how holding onto hope for the future while grieving the past opened my eyes to unexpected opportunities that were the realization of what I was hoping for.
This is a reflection on what it means to stay in a posture of hope, even when things feel uncertain. Because hope isn’t passive—it shapes what we see, how we move, and what we’re open to receiving.
When we stay anchored in hope, we don’t ignore pain—we simply refuse to let it close us off from what might still be unfolding. And sometimes, the very opportunities we’ve been longing for are already forming around us, waiting for us to notice.
Theme Song: Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) by Sherwin Gardner
This episode is about the quiet grief of missing past seasons and the fear that life may never feel that good again. I share what it looks like to sit in that uncertainty, practice gratitude, and still choose to believe that, with God, our best days are ahead of us—even when we can’t fully see it yet.
Theme Song: God is in the story by Katy Nichole
In this episode of Living on the Edge of Reality, I share honestly about a season when I felt emotionally exhausted, traumatized, and was bracing for more pain. After a few difficult Christmas holidays, I entered the next Christmas expecting disappointment and trauma, doing everything I could to protect my heart from being hurt again.
This episode isn’t a polished reflection — it’s about when trauma completely erodes hope and a desperate prayer. And yet, in the place where my only desire was for God to minimize the pain, God met me with unbridled, unparalleled joy and grace.
If you’ve ever approached something “meant to be joyful” while carrying dread, this episode is for you.
Theme Song: Yahweh Se Manifestará by Anthem Worship Español
In this episode of Living on the Edge of Reality, I reflect on the time I quit my job for a new opportunity I wasn’t even authorized to start — as an immigrant, it was a leap of faith filled with risk, uncertainty, and hard lessons. During that season, I largely alienated myself from support, relying only on faith and trust in God to guide me through the impossible. Spoiler alert: God’s still faithful.
Theme Song: When I Fall by Katie Nichole
In this episode of Living on the Edge of Reality, I reflect on the craziest decisions I’ve ever made and what it feels like to look back on a life full of risk. From relying on support systems and testing my faith, to wondering whether playing small could have been an option, I share the highs, lows, and lessons learned from living on the edge. This is a raw, personal look at daring to take risks and owning the consequences of your choices.
