So far, my book proposal hasn’t received any feedback other than a couple of rejections. The feedback was positive, it seems as though those publishers weren’t the right fit. I have decided to continue writing the book, and I will begin to plan self-publishing when the time comes.

Each envelope/package will vary slightly. Each month will include a sticker, a zine, and an original artwork. Envelopes are shipped at the end of each month, so you have until the last day of the month to join. I can send out envelopes domestically (U.S.) or internationally. They will be sent via standard letter mail, which is 7-10 business days for domestic and 7-21 business days for international. There will be no tracking. There is an offering for one-off purchasing for those with subscription fatigue. This monthly offering can include:

Today I introduce the inspiration behind starting my new project around Liminality, weirdness, media, and all things in between via Strange Static. Please go follow me there, as to respect the space of your inbox, I did not import my current email list. Strange Static is a separate project and the energy is very different. I also share the story behind the name (it has to do with my first introduction to Freddy Krueger).

I also share a little bit about releasing shame about promoting our own work. I plan to delve into this more as I confront my own shame about sharing the work I make.

One tidbit I forgot to mention is I am in the process of setting up a space to make a video version of the podcast (other than the podcast logo). I did already obtain a new mic, let me know if the audio experience was better.

Today I share the first reading from my collage deck made on playing cards. There are 43 cards all together. Our three cards were climb, depth and curiosity. I riff on this reading, provide message, prompts and a challenge to create your own collage based on this reading. I share the process of my collage creation during the video. If enjoyed, I’ll try to add this type of bonus at the beginning of each month — time and health allowing.

There are now 3-card readings available from this deck on my ko-fi for $11. You’ll receive a PDF with a photo of the cards pulled, the message plus prompts and exercises to work with. Grab one here.
