Dave returns to discuss Rock band Rivals with Josh and Keith. Guitar Hero Premium shows may bring a us back and Dave really likes the Pixies DLC for Rocksmith.

Tonight on Living Room Clutter Harmonix announced Rivals last month during E3, but didn’t provide any details on what the $29.99 expansion would contain. While convincing people to pony up for new features is a tall order, Harmonix may be up to the task. Like any good expansion, Rock Band Rivals is about giving players more of Rock Band 4, as well as a better Rock Band 4. The add-on contains two parts: a goofy new story-based career mode, and, in a first for the series, an asynchronous multiplayer offering that's both cooperative and competitive.

This week's Rock Band 4 weekly podcast Rock Band 4" has come up with its new set of tunes. It gives a reason for everyone to rock! Several new "Rock Band 4" DLC tracks will be shown off very soon. However, it is still not clear who are the artists who will a part of it. A few of the songs that will be shown off will be available from the 5th of July. The songs that will be available will include hit songs by Hinder and Pixies.

A few other highlights:

We announced the name of our Expansion Pack (Rivals!) along with our new super sleek look. I know Rock Band nation has tons of questions about what’s actually in the Rivals Expansion – we are looking to reveal those details in a few weeks.
We launched our Snapchat channel at the show – if you haven’t subscribed, do it! It’ll offer a ton of fun behind-the-scenes looks into how we do what we do.
We had Harmonix Music VR up in the Sony Booth – this is another one that you owe it to yourself to check it out. It’s different from anything we’ve done before and a really intriguing product for the Sony VR system. Check out Jon Carter's blog post on HMVR at E3 in the blog.
E3 is always a really fun show. While our focus is on Rock Band, we also get to see what our friends in the industry are up to. Lots of exciting news, in both the hardware and software categories - 2016 is gonna be a great year for video games in general. We’re happy to be along for the ride!

Talking about Rock Band 4 related items out of E3 2016 This week we talk about Rock Band Rivals Expansion New PDP Fender Jaguar Guitar PDP Adapter This week's DLC and More! Harmonix has continued to fiddle with Rock Band 4 since it released the game last year, but it's got something more significant planned for later this year. This fall, the studio (in conjunction with new co-publisher PDP) will release Rock Band Rivals, a $30 expansion. The studio is staying mum on any other specifics at the moment, saying only "we’re going to be bringing you brand new features that have never been seen in Rock Band before. These are really big, new modes to the game, and players of all difficulties and play styles will be able to enjoy what we’re cooking up for you." Harmonix also took the opportunity to reveal some new equipment for the game, including the new, foldable Fender Jaguar controller: In addition to folding for easy travel and storage, the Jaguar includes improvements to the strum bar and auto-calibration sensor. It'll retail for $89.99 with Rock Band 4 and Rivals or $69.99 on its own. PDP will also release a $30 charging stand for the Jaguar and $30 adapter for legacy wired instruments, most excitingly the ION Drum Rocker. Lastly, the company is creating a bundle including Rock Band 4, Rivals, a Jaguar and drum kit for $199.99. Like Rivals, the equipment hasn't been specifically dated, Harmonix is currently aiming for "later this year." Game
