This is part of our midweek series entitled "The Journey." This evening we see that all of the sacrifices from the past would never be enough. Proof is found in the fact that sacrifices were made year after year. But Jesus is the one sacrifice for all. The sacrifices of old were a shadow. Jesus, however, is the reality. And he alone gives us peace and security.

March 22, 2020 - John 3:1-17 - "Salvation through God's Son" by Living Savior

This is part of a midweek series entitled "The Journey." Tonight we see how God has used water as an important part of our salvation - the journey of redemptive history.

Companionship. Stability. Security. Love. Health?! Peace. Happiness. Fallen human beings have always thirsted for the things that this world cannot satisfy. Like that nation that God favored above all others, and still they test him with one complaint after another. Or like that woman who has had five husbands already, and now there’s a sixth man in her life, and she knows that that relationship won’t satisfy either of them. Then the Lord Jesus steps in, and he provides living water to satisfy our souls so they will never thirst again.
