“Just be yourself.” That sounds great and looks good on a t-shirt but is it really accurate? What if being you is actually damaging you and those around you? Could it be possible that this current “you” isn’t the one God intended? This week we look a better option. An option Jesus calls us to and even modeled himself.

Have you ever gotten a gift that was underwhelming? Sometimes our expectations for a gift keep us from seeing and appreciating its worth. This week, we see how, for many, the birth of Jesus seemed to be an underwhelming gift that defied expectations. Pastor Jonathan wraps up our final week of the series, "Re-Gift" to end 2018.

What would it take for you to experience true peace? Maybe a change in your finances, a new relationship, kids off to college? All that is foreign to the Bible. The Bible actually talks about peace coming from submission to Jesus. He, after all, is the Prince of Peace.

Hope is a very elusive thing. One day you have it, one day you don’t. You can gain it and you can lose it. But what if you stopped hoping for something and started hoping in someone. You probably already know where we are going with this!

Does God want us to be happy? As we enter into the Christmas season, sometimes it’s hard to be happy when there is so much to buy and so much to do. This week we explore another option than just “being happy.” And it has nothing to do with your circumstances.

As the holidays approach we will all be in various gatherings with friends, family, co-workers and others. There will be a lot of voices with a lot of opinions. This week we talk about training our ear to hear the only voice that really matters.

What does it take to do something great for God? As we learn this week, not too much. We just need a willing heart and patience that He will show up and do the work!
