Do you ever feel like God takes too long to act, intervene, or get things done? Some prophecies in the Bible took hundreds of years to be fulfilled. If God is all-powerful, can't He speed up the process? Why does He choose to wait?

Sin is a pretty big topic among many Christian cultures. But did you know that once you give your life to Christ, you are no longer a sinner? Before you send an email to Pastor John accusing him of blasphemy, let's examine together the truth of God's transforming power at work in our lives.

Is God's Holiness something you think of as inclusive and inviting? Many people view it as something that keeps them separate and excluded from Him. Whatever walls you may think exist between you and God, He is willing and able to break down in order for you to share in His presence.

When Jesus was here on earth, he did many things as examples for us to go and do the same. Things like washing the disciples' feet or remaining silent before Pilate when falsely accused. Self-sacrifice was a big theme in Jesus' ministry, and should be a central component to our identity as Christ-followers.

What's your Plan B? When following Jesus gets difficult or confusing, oftentimes we run to alternate methods of dealing with those hard times that are outside of God's plan for us. Maybe it's time to set aside those backup plans and trust in the One who will never leave you or forsake you.

We live in a world that no longer values or expects longevity. It seems like almost every product you buy is disposable; one use and it's done. When something breaks, we replace rather than repair. But what happens when we break? Are we disposable too? Is it possible to repair those deep down places of hurt or regret in our lives to become useful again? Pastor Bob brings the sermon this week.

We live in a culture bent on taking every drop of time, money and energy from us. The result is a life filled with stress and distraction from what is important. If we can create "margins" in different areas of our life, we may begin to see the work of God more clearly.

All of us have pre-programed thoughts & responses in our mind about things. "I can't play sports, I'm clumsy", "Traffic always makes me so impatient", "I will never overcome this addiction because I'm not strong enough". Many of these "narratives" within us are flat out lies can be changed with a little discipline. With Christ's help, we can renew our minds and get rid of these false narratives.
