Living Techno

The sixty-second installment of our podcast is now available. For this episode, let us introduce you to Brainchild from France.

Brainchild is a French DJ based in Paris. Her love for techno was born in the vibrant underground scene of Buenos Aires, where she immersed herself for three years. Back in Paris, she used her experience to craft her own sonic universe, infused with tribal textures and shaped by the immersive energy of mental and hypnotic techno.

She has since carved out her own path—rooted in emotion, contrast, and raw rhythm. Her sets blend hypnotic layers with groovy, high-energy pulses, creating a space where movement becomes meditation. Brainchild invites the crowd into a liberating flow, where sound becomes both escape and expression.

______

Absence of Facts label head Orion returns to his own imprint, delivering a potent three-track statement of raw, hypnotic techno. Opener Late Arrival builds a pressurized atmosphere, driven by a deep, pulsing rhythm and a stripped-down aesthetic. The EP continues with Verentia, which pushes further into immersive sound design, weaving a web of psychedelic textures and hypnotic patterns. Closing the release, Comatose lives up to its name with a heavy, relentless groove. Its broken-beat character and somatic low-end make it a formidable tool for the deepest hours of the night
