Continuing Blueprint's 30th anniversary celebrations, James Ruskin welcomes the return of Oliver Ho, whose relationship with the label is deep-rooted.
Oliver Ho has spent the last 30 years devoting his life to creating some of the most intense and compelling electronic music out there. Debuting his signature raw sound in 1996 on Blueprint Records, he cemented himself in the underground of the '90s UK techno scene. With a plethora of aliases, he has navigated his way through many different genres. From the frenetic tribal sounds of his own Meta imprint, the off the wall house music made as Birdland and Raudive, the grinding industrial of Broken English Club and the heavily textured ambient of his Slow White Fall and Zov Zov projects. While pushing and pulling at the fringes of electronic music, at the very centre has always been the beating heart of hypnotic techno, an art form that is both brutal and bewitching; techno as ritual magic. Oliver’s live shows and DJ sets showcase this expression of music as shamanic experience, metallic and relentless, pure and direct.
An integral figure in shaping Blueprint's early sound, Oliver Ho returned in 2016 for their 20th anniversary with the "Burning Heretics EP", which was followed by a remastered reissue of 1999's "Awakening The Sentient". So it's fitting that he's now back for this latest milestone with a new EP, "Our Secret Religion" dropping in May.

We welcome the return of iluna, who delivers a gritty techno EP with immersive atmosphere and smouldering intensity.
Originally from Scotland, but currently living in Colombia, iluna's music combines raw percussion, deep pads, and hypnotic energy.
iluna's productions have so far been exclusive to Tribal Pulse, and this is her second solo EP for the imprint. She is also a skilled DJ who has played alongside other artists ranging from Leftfield to DJ Pierre.
The release includes two original tracks, each with an alternative version also produced by iluna.
"Sauchiehall Circuit (Reset Mix)" opens the release with its call-and-response acid, mingling with a euphoric melody and throbbing bass. Next up, "Sauchiehall Circuit (Surge Mix)" is a gritty version with distorted drums giving it a more aggressive sound.
"Smoke (G83 Mix)" is a deep techno track with majestic pads contrasting with brutal drum sounds. "Smoke (Cosmic Beach Mix)" has toughened drums and an extra melody part, plus a refined structure that's tailor-made for a dance floor.

We are pleased to present the sixth release of No Lineal, a special edition celebrating the label’s first anniversary. This Various Artists brings together different visions within hypnotic techno, forming a sonic journey designed to accompany and expand the experience on the dancefloor.
The EP opens with Juan Evangelista and Autonoe, close collaborators who have been developing a shared language over time. Their contribution sets a deep and mental tone, establishing the conceptual foundation of the release.
The second track, by XHEI, intensifies the narrative with a piece driven by immersive atmospheres and precise percussion, inviting the listener into a denser and more sustained hypnotic state.
The Fabric of Reality takes over on the third cut, raising the energy and pushing the journey to its peak. Here, the sonic construction reaches a climax that dissolves the perception of time and space, opening the path to a fully movement-oriented experience.
Closing the release, Kid Riot delivers his distinctive acid-driven approach. His track provides an expansive finale, where interpretative freedom and physical connection take center stage.
We would like to thank all the artists involved in this release, as well as everyone who has supported No Lineal since its beginnings. This anniversary not only marks a year of activity, but also celebrates a growing community.
    Long live techno.

Fresh off an EP on Semantica and an album on MORD, Uun returns to his imprint Ego Death with the Panopticon EP. Uun showcases his range on these 6 tracks, running the gamut from dissonance to chord driven grooves.
The A side focuses on intensity. “Aesthetic Descent” features dual synth lines, slipping between melody and atonality. The straightforward percussion allows the listener to focus on the everchanging dynamics in the leads. “Structural Obedience” begins with a chugging groove, out of which a buzzsaw synth emerges. This track is a display of Uun’s ability to walk the line between minimalism and maximalism.
The B side focuses on the interplay between melody and groove. “Ralph’s Track” channels the dub chords of Basic Channel while applying a modern edge. “The Hidden System” features the lone vocal on the EP, sampled from the work of the late great David Lynch. The interplay between the ⅞ lead synth and 4/4 percussion creates a feeling of anticipation, where the patterns develop in unpredictable ways.
The digital exclusive tracks go into more experimental territory. “Queen’s Chamber” is a broken beat dirge, consisting of reverb drenched percussion and synths reminiscent of Dead Can Dance. The final track, “Shokunin”, is the counterpoint to Aesthetic Descent, closing out the release on a crushing yet hopeful note.
The EP is also released on vinyl, pressed onto a unique custom turquoise and black hand poured color mix record inside a full printed jacket. The evocative artwork was created by Minneapolis based graphic designer Ryote.
