In our FOURTH “FREE”episode of “LIVING THE ALOHA LIFE” we’ll be discussing MOVING TO HAWAII YOUNG!
In this Podcast we sit down with new friends Myles and Klaudia from Chicago…both in their early 20’s and with a dream to move to Hawaii while young…and they MADE IT HAPPEN!
Myles Bilenda recently moved to the beautiful island of Oahu with his awesome girlfriend Klaudia and their dog Kai! They decided to add onto their family by getting Kai a little puppy brother here on the island; Mako. Myles was born and raised in the city of Chicago and has always dreamed of an island lifestyle ever since he was a little boy. His main goal in life is to be happy no matter what and to enjoy every little step life has to offer him. And that included jumping off that cliff called life and moving to Hawaii! Myles was a dog trainer and handler at a dog daycare-boarding and training facility in the city of Chicago and left behind a passion of his and a good paying job to move to Oahu. Nykes and Klaudia decided to move once they discovered that the University of Hawaii offered Public Health and Epidemiology for graduate school as that is what Klaudia is studying for her future career. Once she applied, they started Kai’s paperwork and began the process of moving to Hawaii. The day she got in, they booked their flights, and as they say the rest is history….Now they are living it up paradise style and are happier than ever and know they really did make the right choice to move. Myles currently drives on the Lyft platform here on Oahu and prides himself on delivering nothing but A1 aloha to every customer he gets! Myles loves life here in Hawaii and everything it means to be a resident of this magically wonderful island. He fell in love with the sport of bodyboarding and now Klaudia has to drag him out of the water when it’s time to go home for dinner. Hawaii challenges you in an amazing way and in life you need challenges to be happy and feel fulfilled! Myles loves Hawaii as much as he loves anything and he sees Klaudia, Kai, Mako and himself staying here happily ever after.
Klaudia, back in Chicago, got a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and one in Biology and worked as a pharmacy technician. Once she got accepted to the University of Hawaii’s Public Health graduate program, Myles and Klaudia started the process of moving to Oahu. Now, she is working on a Master’s Degree in Public Health specializing in Epidemiology and working in a Japanese restaurant. they both are happier than ever and know that they were incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to move to such a beautiful and amazing place. Klaudia loves everything that Hawaii has to offer and embraces all of the great opportunities in the islands as well as the challenges. Myles and Klaudia absolutely love it on Oahu and know they made the right choice moving here, and they are really looking forward to staying in Hawaii forever with their little pups!

In our SECOND “FREE”episode of “LIVING THE ALOHA LIFE” we’ll be discussing MAKING the CHOICE to MOVE to HAWAII.
Making the Choice to Move to Hawaii will be one of the BIGGEST DECISIONS of your LIFE!
For many, Hawaii is a dream…a fantasy that will never be reached, but for those who have the WILL and SPIRIT…”MANA” as we call it here in Hawaii…Those are the ones that will FIGHT to make Hawaii Nei a REALITY!
Hawaii is a special place for special people…The Average Joe simply won’t have the MANA to make it here or the PU’UWAI!
There is a 50/50 change you make it…Most external things will be against you…it will be up to you internally to deflect those things you can’t change and not only believe in yourself, but have the hope and faith that you will make it. When it comes to Hawaii you will have to rely on your self determination for the most part, but you should also rely on others to help you along the way…don’t ever have too much pride as to not ask for help!
In this Episode you will hear Wayde and Mikes personal and INSPIRATIONAL stories on how they made the “CHOICE” to move to Hawaii and survive to tell about it many years after they landed.
Point blank…Living and making ends meet in Hawaii isn’t easy…It’s hard to advocate MOVING to Hawaii under the current climate of Hawaii, as the COST OF LIVING is the most expensive in the country, but we are certainly not going to tell you not to reach for your dreams and the stars!
We hope this Episode inspires others to follow in our foot steps, but to also be cautious and not make the same mistakes we made and to plan out your move to the highest degree…Hawaii is always changing and we all need to change with it or our stay on these islands will be short lived.
ALOHA and E KOMO MAI to “Living The Aloha Life” with Wayde & Mike!
We are FINALLY STOKED to be back on the air and doing what we love most…Sharing our love for Hawaii with all of you! Being our FIRST PODCAST we’ll be discussing the MEANING of our Podcast and what ALOHA truly means. Living the ALOHA LIFE means many things in Hawaii, but it can mean something to anyone who doesn’t live in Hawaii as well. You don’t need to live in Hawaii to live the “ALOHA LIFE”. Living the Aloha Life is a “STATE OF MIND” and you can live that life where ever you are! Everyone knows the basic meaning of ALOHA…it’s foundation is LOVE, but it also is a word used when expressing hello or goodbye.
There are 3 things we think of when expressing ALOHA: The Aloha Spirit – The Way of Aloha – Living the Aloha Life
It’s essential when LIVING ALOHA that one must attempt to live in the present moment and meditate into aloha…love.
So…WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY is ALOHA?
WHO is you, I, us…WHAT is the conscious creation of our Reality…WHEN is now, the present moment, the only moment we truly have…WHERE is in nature an our surroundings…WHY is because we have been placed here to cherish, protect, love and take care of this being we live on…Our mother Earth. THAT is ALOHA…THAT is LIVING THE ALOHA LIFE.
Below are our TOP 5 THINGS to LIVE ALOHA.
Live your life in this way and you will not only LIVE THE ALOHA LIFE, you’ll spread a little aloha where ever you go.
