In many ways, the events of Palm Sunday and then the days that would follow, revealed a people that had fallen into that age-old sin of idolatry. We too can quickly find ourselves up to our necks in idolatry when we begin to ignore God’s revelation of Himself and instead start to imagine God as we want him to be.

Pastor Eric turns to the Scriptures to help us untangle the spiritual gift of tongues: "removing the mystery by looking biblically."

1 Peter 2:9-12 reminds us that the church is called to be both culture-denying and culture-transforming. So, to better engage our community, Pastor Eric interviews our Chief of Police, Mike Soelberg, who opens our eyes to areas of brokenness and pain in our neighborhoods, great opportunities for prayer and care from the local church.

Pastor Eric continues in the Book of Acts and our series titled, "When We Become the Opposition."We need everything God has available to us to live for Him and be about His mission. We can’t do this in my own strength. So, if God tells me that I need to be baptized in water and Baptized in the Holy Spirit, then I’m responding with, “When and where?”.

Pastor Eric brings a message from Acts 8 and the scattering of the saints. God will leverage this season of opposition in a way that will strengthen the church and advance His kingdom.

Continuing the series titled, "When We Become the Opposition," Pastor Eric opens the Book of Acts where we discover that when the church becomes the opposition, we must not allow this Cancel Culture to control what we do or what we say. Like Stephen, we must… “BE who we are, SAY what we know, and GIVE what we have.”
