The whole reason John wrote this Gospel is so that people would be drawn to Jesus, believe who He is, and be saved. But believing is a daily decision. But know this good news… Jesus is God’s compassionate, loving, and a just provision for ALL! So, go on following, go on trusting, go on being filled with the Spirit, go on enjoying, go on walking in victory, and go on sharing this provision of salvation that is for all.

Peter doesn’t tell Christians how to escape persecution; rather, how to endure it.

As you read the Gospel of Mark, look for the Kingdom of God and catch a vision for how God wants you to live in His ways and how He wants you to minister His kingdom to others. 

We will see and experience God-stuff when we follow Jesus, when we get close to Him, when we seek Him. 

The Gospel of Mark depicts an urgency to sharing Jesus with others. It’s time for more immediacy within the church. The key to living a kingdom of God lifestyle is servanthood. We must be like Jesus who was the servant of all. 

From slave to brother. In this world, people use people for their own gain. In God’s kingdom we become useful to God and to others. Christians must do hard things. Jesus crushes evil from the inside/out.
