In Psalm 22 we have the suffering of Jesus on the Cross. As Jesus came to identify with us in our misery so that He might be our perfect sacrifice for sin - we're called to identify with Him as we suffer knowing He will bring us comfort and victory.

When feeling discouraged, remember the good things the Lord has done for you in the past, remember His perfect attributes, and cling to what you know to be true - the promises of His Word.

In times of spiritual drought - earnestly seek the Lord and clint to the promises of His Word with every fiber of your being so that you might regain confidence in faith and trust Him even though circumstances remain the same.

In the midst of trials, rampant evil and sudden tragedies we may be tempted to doubt God's presence. It's at such times that we must cling to what we know to be true - the truth of God's Word.

The Christian has no reason to fear because Jesus is our Light, our Salvation, and our Strength.
