As believers in Christ gathering together for worship each Lord's Day, we come to the Jerusalem of the redeemed in Christ and enter into the glorious presence of our God and Savior. There we receive the blessings of unity, justice, peace, and security as we look forward to the glorious gathering in the eternal New Jerusalem at the end of the age when Christ returns.

Neglect of God's Word and compromise led to God's people profaning the Sabbath Day. Nehemiah brought reforms to restore the Sabbath Day as the day of delight God intended from Creation.

Zeal for the Lord's house, the church, is renewed when we give God's Word its proper place in our lives, when we confess our sins and seek God's forgiveness, when we commit ourselves by taking action to fulfill what we promised, and when we rely fully upon the grace of God for all things.

We commonly pray for -traveling mercies- before going on a trip. Psalm 121 is the -traveler's Psalm- that reminds us to not only look for the Lord's care when we go on vacation, but to look to Him as our Keeper as we venture out into the world and live our lives for God's glory.

As believers in Jesus Christ, this world is not our home. We journey as pilgrims in a world of sin, surrounded by sinners as we press on in God's grace to our eternal home in God's glorious presence. Thankfully, Jesus has paved the way for us and He blesses us with gifts for our encouragement along the way.

God's Word, the Bible, is our only infallible rule for faith and life. It leads, guides, convicts, encourages, comforts, gives wisdom and revives so that we might live our lives for the glory of God.

After Jesus and His disciples celebrated the Passover they went out to the Garden of Gethsemane singing Psalm 118, a psalm which prophetically speaks of Jesus, the King, marching toward the triumph of the Cross and the Empty Tomb.

Because God is the One True Living God and Creator of all things, He sovereignly rules over all that He's created using His power and authority to bring about the good of His people and ultimately His own glory in all things.

Psalm 117 is an OT version of the Great Commission calling people of all nations to worship the One True Living God, praising Him for His great mercy and His enduring truth revealed in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In an ongoing confrontation with the Pharisees, Jesus warns of a sin for which there is no forgiveness. What is it- Who commits it- Is there any hope offered-
