 The physical implications of cancer are widely recognised. However, people with cancer – and those around them – face another, less obvious burden: the financial impact of their diagnosis.    Previous Macmillan research has shown that four out of five people with cancer are, on average, £570 a month worse off because of their diagnosis. 

On this podcast we will be chatting to Lisa Lugt from Guildford & Ash CAB, who is the  CAB adviser at the Fountain Centre.

There are over 6 millions carers in the UK.  Some work on the the frontline of social care, and some are unpaid carers supporting family members due to health conditions, age or disability.  

On this podcast, I will be joined by Eileen Goldsack.  Eileen is a Cancer Support Service Lead at the Fountain Centre and also a qualified coach. We will be discussing the role of a carer when a family member or loved one has a cancer diagnosis.
