COMPARE JESUS MIRACLES WITH MORTAL MEN MIRACLES.

What are some of the things that Jesus did that we would assume only Jesus could do because He’s God?

⦁ Lame healed

⦁ Calmed a storm (spoke to the elements)

⦁ Raised the dead (little girl, Lazarus, widow’s son)

⦁ Knew people’s thoughts

⦁ Multiplied food

⦁ Cast out demons

⦁ People touched the hem of His garment and were healed

⦁ Turn the water into wine

⦁ Walked on water

All of the above also happened either the same or to a greater degree with mortal men:

⦁ Lame healed

⦁ Peter healed a man at the temple

⦁ Paul healed a man during his preaching

⦁ Calmed the stormed (spoke to the elements)

⦁ Moses and the red sea parting

⦁ Joshua / Elijah / Elisha water parting

⦁ Moses water out of a rock twice

⦁ Joshua sun stand still

⦁ Raised the dead

⦁ Peter raised up Dorcus

⦁ Elijah raised the Zarapheth widow’s son

⦁ Elisha raised Shunammite’s woman’s son

⦁ Man raised from dead who touched Elisha’s bones

⦁ Knew people’s thoughts

⦁ Peter with Ananias and Sapphira

⦁ Moses with the Nile turning to blood

⦁ Elisha and the “death” in the pot of stew

⦁ Walked on water

⦁ Elisha with the ax head

⦁ Peter walked on the water

These examples show that God indeed did these miracles, but they also show that men can work such miracles when they work with God. It’s not to prove that men in and of themselves have power or are gods. But I’m seeing a pattern that a mortal man when in the right position with God can do the impossible.... just like Jesus.
