Jesus taught us to be purposeful in our living. Part of that purpose is to live with the end in mind. Being prepared means knowing what is going on, having discernment of the truth, waiting faithfully and being willing to follow, even if it means suffering.

 

Whose report will we believe becomes the bottom line in the successful completion of life's journey. With all the elements of chaos and the massive separation, division, contention and pressure to survive, and the clash of ideologies, the two sides are becoming even more obvious.  

 

Jesus addresses the cares and worries of life and breaks them all down into trusting in God's goodness. He begins his discussion of the order of events in Luke 12 by revealing the hidden works of darkness.

 

No one will be able to hide, deny, or make excuses for the things they have done or said.
