Faith works by love! This is one of the larger concepts that Pastor Mac talked about in the third message in his series entitled, “The Fight for Your Faith.” Galatians 5:6 tells us that faith works by love, so that means the relationships we cultivate are going to represent channels of ministry through which God can use you to bless others. However, in order for those relationships to work, they must be founded on the love of God. Furthermore, love is not a feeling. It is an act. This is the kind of love that God says will make your faith work.

Pastor Mac continued his series, “The Fight for Your Faith,” reminding us that before we can believe for healing, provision, or breakthrough, we must first fight to believe what God says about who we are.

We’re citizens of heaven, called to seek His Kingdom, and the righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. When our hearts align with His will, everything else falls into place.

Mark Hankins brought powerful teaching on the topic, “Who You Are in Christ.” He reminded us that the foundation of your faith is knowing your identification with Christ and exactly who you are “in Christ.” God has a plan for your life and you have a destiny in Him. Mark shared, “If you’re going to reach your destiny, you must have a change of identity.” We have to start seeing ourselves the way God sees us, through the blood, the cross, the resurrection, and the triumph of Christ. When we begin to see ourselves in Christ, our faith becomes alive and effective!

Pastor Mac began a new four-part series entitled, “The Fight for Your Faith.” His message was based upon 1st Timothy 6:12, “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…” It’s the goal of every believer to “lay hold on eternal life.” Eternal life is the God kind of life. And here’s the great news! You don’t have to wait until you get into heaven to experience it. You can have it right now on this earth by fighting the good fight of faith. Pastor Mac says, “That means your faith has the capacity to appropriate a quality of life that would otherwise escape you.” So if you’re fighting the good fight of faith in order to lay hold on eternal life, you need to know your faith is not valueless. Pastor Jim extended his series “Praying Down the Rain” an extra week to address the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk. Charlie’s death triggered a worldwide revival. He showed a video where revival for Jesus Christ is breaking out all over the world: in Germany, New Zealand, Italy, London, Korea, Brazil, Australia, Pakistan, Venice, Poland, Sweden, Paris, France, Netherlands, Mexico, United States. The scriptural reference for his message is Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers…” He exhorted us to use our spiritual authority against these rulers of darkness, to thwart the enemy’s plans and purposes.

This past weekend, our guest minister, Dr. Billye Brim, taught a powerful message on the subject of the believer’s authority. In light of the tragedy of the death of our beloved brother in Christ, Charlie Kirk, she based her message on Ephesians 6:10, speaking about “this present darkness.” She said, “We must put on the whole armor of God to stand against the schemes of the Devil.” In her three-part message (Sat. 5 p.m., Sun. 9 a.m., 11 a.m.), she ministered on taking our authority in Christ to stand against the demonic plots and plans of the enemy. In this epic battle between good and evil, it is imperative that we do so effectively.

Last week, Pastor Jim taught the third installment of his series entitled, “Praying Down the Rain.” He used 1st Corinthians 13:8–10 as his scriptural reference: “Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” Incredibly, there are those in Christendom who teach tongues have ceased! But Pastor Jim very excellently went through the Word and proved why the gift of tongues has not ceased, but is, in fact, the most powerful tool believers have in praying out the plans and purposes of God in the earth!

The launch of Pastor Jim’s new teaching series began this past weekend, entitled, “Praying Down the Rain.” It was powerful! He delved into past revivals to examine whether there were certain things that triggered the move of God in the land. And he found them! Plus, you’ll get to hear a prophetic word about our very own state—Minnesota! If there is anyone out there that feels “ho-hum” on the subject of end time revival, this series will bring an end to that. Apathy will disappear!
