Life has a way of pulling us toward complicated and busy. It's easy to see this both in our personal lives and in our church. When we end up living a complicated, busy life our frustration increases while our excellence and effectiveness decrease.In Core Part 6, Doug challenges us to aim at living a focussed life. God has put each of us here for a reason. He has gifted each of us in different ways. What would life look like if we each focussed on doing the few things God's gifted us to do?

Excellence is not something we normally think of us as being "spiritual." Because of that we often aim at "just ok" or "good enough." But what if aiming at less than excellence puts many of the things we value at risk - our church, our marriages, our jobs, our kids and more. In Core Part 5, Doug talks about why excellence matters so much and what will motivate us to aim for excellence in all that we do.

"Why should I even want to be a genuine Christian?"Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions? If so, Doug will challenge and encourage you in Core Part 4.

Have you ever thought about what has caused you to grow spiritually? What has most impacted you to live for Jesus? When Jesus walked the earth he had 3 and 1/2 years to change the world. What was His strategy to help people grow spiritually? He didn't open up a Bible School or sit in a cave and write a best selling book. In Core Part 3, Doug talks about Jesus' strategy for spiritual growth and how it just might be exactly what we need.

Can you imagine living a life that is exciting and fulfilling because moment by moment God is leading you? Can you imagine being part of a church that isn't just aiming at great messages and music, but desperately wants people to encounter God?In Core Part 2, Doug talks about a core value and behavior that makes these things a reality.

Deep inside each of us we find our core values and behaviors. When we value the right things we end up on roads that God will bless. The problem is, it's really easy to value the wrong things and end up on roads that God can't bless. In Part 1 of Core, Doug talks about a guard rail that will keep us from drifting away from the road that God has for us.

In Pastor Pavone's last message as Lead Pastor, he continues to point us to Jesus. He talks about how condemnation often keeps us trapped in sin, but Jesus offers amazing hope and freedom.

On Pastor and Kathy's last day in the lead postion, the church thanked them for their 35 plus years of ministry. This is the audio from the part of the service where the staff and elders honored them (through lots of tears and laughter).
