The Gospel accounts of Jesus, post-resurrection, are surprisingly short. But the things He did in the presence of His disciples and the words He spoke to them not only caused them to reevaluate everything else He had told them, but also to see the entire Old Testament in a different light. Join us as we take a look at the disciples as they step into the life Jesus called them to, A.D. means "in the year of our Lord", but today we look at life after (Jesus's) death.

For the last few weeks, we've learned about how the disciples found it impossible to believe that Jesus was actually going to die. How much harder must it have been for them to believe He would rise from the dead? But just as His death brought them to a place of depression and fear, His resurrection would bring them to a place of joy and victory! Let's look at how Jesus' resurrection changes us; how it is the guarantee of His most important promise. Let's talk about Following Jesus Out of the Grave!

Tonight Pastor Mike encourages us to finish our course by living a life of faith and following the teachings of Jesus Christ. Part of this is knowing God's word, running the race of life with endurance, and using the name of Jesus to overcome challenges. We will also face challenges to our faith, such as failure to understand righteousness, failure to act upon the word of God, and failure to hold fast to our confession of faith. In the end, we must trust in God, live by faith, and stay committed to our walk with Christ.

An amazing portion of the gospel accounts takes place between Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem and His crucifixion. We're going to be looking at three statements made during that week: one from the high priest, one from the Jewish masses, and one from the religious leaders, and see how they can be interpreted as prophecy and prayers that continue to echo through the ages. Join us as we continue Following Jesus to the Cross!

Drawing from Philippians and 2 Timothy, Pastor Mike emphasizes the importance of pressing forward in faith, despite obstacles and temptations. Using the example of Jesus' temptation in Luke 4, we see the power of God's Word in overcoming challenges and we are encouraged to remain rooted in God's Word. Pastor Mike also highlights the need for vigilance against spiritual attacks, urging believers to resist the enemy and stand firm in their faith. We have authority and victory available to us through Christ.

It's amazing to think about all the things Jesus did, all the people He impacted, and all the places He went in just three years of ministry on earth. Scripture even makes it clear that He did many, many more things that are not recorded. But never forget, that everywhere He went, everything He did, and everyone He met, took Him one step closer to His crucifixion. Join us for a new series as we begin "Following Jesus to the Cross".
