  • The Prosperous Soul: The Will

It is said that "The Will" is one of the most potent forces of the universe. The power of free will is a gift of God. We must learn to control our will and emotions. We must line our will up with the will of the Father which is found in His Word.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

    Romans 12:2

  • Christ the Healer The Childrens Bread
Join us as we continue to look at what the Bible really says about divine healing. Most believers affirm that it CAN happen, but is it rare? Is it normal? Is it something we should expect when we pray? The word of God has answers, and those answers may surprise you and they may encourage you!

  • The Prosperous Soul: Walking In His Peace

It's so easy to be worried, troubled, and distracted by everything going on in the world. It's so easy to allow these things to weigh you down. Our Heavenly Father doesn't want us stressed out and overcome with worry. He wants us to have the peace that passes all understanding. The peace that comes from trusting in Him.

"God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable],

A very present and well-proved help in trouble."

    Psalm 46:1 AMP

  • Christ Our Healer
What does the Bible really say about sickness, disease, and healing? Charlatans posing as "faith healers" have muddied the waters and distracted many from taking a serious look at what scripture actually has to say on the matter. All believers know God can heal. All believers know Jesus healed. But what should we expect to see today, and why?

  • Seek First the Kingdom
We live in a hectic, fast-paced world. Some days, and even weeks, can fly by with us asking ourselves "What did I actually accomplish?" If we're not careful, life will pass us by with little to show for it but busyness. God calls us to seek first His kingdom, above all else. He assures us that if we put Him first in our lives, He'll take care of the rest.

  • A Time to Celebrate and a Time to Remember

Certain seasons of life, and certain events in life, call for celebration and recognition. Many of these moments should also be memorialized in some fashion because remembering where we've been can encourage and equip us to deal with where we are going. God instructed His people to build memorials, to remember the great things He had done for them. What can we do to memorialize His work in our lives?

  • The Prosperous Soul: The Poor Soul

    3 John 2

"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

The Apostle John realized that the prosperity of our whole lives, including the health of our bodies, hinges on the condition of our souls. If prosperity and health were not God's will for, why would God say so much about it in the scriptures? Also, if we don't know God's Word... will perish in our ignorance.

  • What Does God Smell Like
We are commanded to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. But we are also commanded to live our lives in such a way that the love and power of God are evident. People respond, sometimes, to something beyond our words, even if we are bold. What is it about our lives that speaks of the presence of God?

In Scripture, Peter emphasized the importance of being reminded of the truths we already know. This message serves to put us in remembrance of what faith is and how it is walked out in our everyday lives.
