You may have heard "Let's keep Christ in Christmas" and thought Xmas was somehow eliminating Christ?

A person's promise was their bond, but has come to be less reliable in current times. 

Just as God selected Mary to care for Jesus and to be the right mother, so He selected Joseph to be the right role model for Jesus growing up.

 I think we all have from time to time. We all know prayer is important but we don't always actually pray.  Prayer is more than just a list of requests we bring to God.   It's not designed to inform Him of our needs, prayer is about building our relationship with Him and partnering with Him to see change in this world.
