Colossians 1 

Colossians 1:24–25 (ESV)
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh, I am filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known,

 
Paul, in proclaiming the all-sufficient gospel of Jesus' death and resurrection declares that he rejoices in filling up what is lacking in Christ. What! this is one of those double-take lines of the Gospel. However, when we relook at this, we see Paul's meaning. For Paul to proclaim that Christ has done it all, but what is missing, for you to hear, for you to believe and for you to tell.
