About Lovelie Tejada:
Lovelie Tejada is the Chief of Staff at the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC), where she plays a pivotal role in executing key initiatives, guiding strategic vision, and coordinating interdepartmental projects. Most recently, she was the Director of Community Engagement, overseeing outreach efforts in New York City and Western New York.
Previously, Lovelie served as Congresswoman Yvette Clarke's Director of Outreach, where she helped integrate the voices of residents into policy priorities. Her career has been centered around empowering marginalized communities and advocating for social justice. She holds a BA in Political Science and Film Studies from Trinity College.
