Doing what’s needed can be difficult at times. I have found myself in this space many times trying to figure out my next move or steps to move forward in life. Sometimes I didn’t want to do what was needed but I had to in order to overcome my fears. I get frustrated like anyone else but i have the tendency to stay focused until the job is done. Why do what’s needed? We do what’s needed to get to the other side of an idea or a thought. Perhaps a choice. You will never know what’s on the other side of your choices if you don’t try. Try to finish that project or past that exam. I’ve been there. Staying in the moment until the job is done or whatever it is you have going on will payoff in a huge way. On this episode, I wanted to talk about fear because it can interrupt a lot of things if we allow it to. Many times we are so afraid that we won’t allow ourselves to get beyond the challenges that lie ahead for us. On the other side of our choices and our decision-making, there are, many opportunities to grow. Pushing past fear is like working out. You don’t want to go at first but once you’ve gone to the gym and you’ve made it through your exercise routine you come out feeling so much better. Some people may even say Victorious. With fear it’s much like the same. Once we face it and find ourselves entangled with it, we begin to understand many things about ourselves and one of those many things is that we weren’t as afraid as we thought we were going to be and then the other is it wasn’t as hard as we thought it was gonna be. There is no need to think things worse than they actually are. I have done that a lot in my life and I can tell you that I have missed out on many opportunities by doing just that. On this Season 8 debut we start with Living vs Surviving. I have asked myself this question a few time throughout my life. I feel it’s a valid question considering my experiences in my life. I feel like sometimes I’m rushing or moving too fast. Other times I feel like I’m not doing enough and it’s time that’s moving too fast. To me the difference between living and surviving is a matter of being present. I believe it’s a matter of enjoying the present moment, and the future future to the fullest of its potential. Am I enjoying myself while enjoying the experience because they are two different things. Living to me, is being present surviving to me, is holding on tight to what you have. We have these discussions so that we are allowing ourselves to evolve and grow. Everything grows in the universe. Perhaps you want to do more living unless surviving I know I do. On today’s show we discuss “ letting the trauma go” because we don’t want it to control us or define us. It can and will be difficult, letting the trauma go. The trauma can be so triggering. I’ve been there. There are so many things that can triggering. Being reminded of the trauma is tough in itself. I wish it on no one. I’ve been through some very traumatic experiences and now I’m strong enough to share those experiences with others to help the. I go to therapy twice a week and I’m so grateful for a wonderful team of professionals. They help me to sort through feelings and emotions that I may not be able to understand. Trauma has a way of paralyzing us if we let it. However, if we do the work and we believe in ourselves, then there can be a lot of great benefits that come out of understanding our trauma. It’s important that we continue to learn about ourselves. It’s important that we continue to show up to ourselves. All of this helps us to become better for ourselves and for our loved ones. We also teach the future generations how to take care of themselves. We teach them how to show up to themselves and how to not be afraid to look at themselves. A lot of people go through trauma, but a lot more people don’t do anything about it. Let’s let the trauma go together. To love your body is to love yourself. You have to be intentional about what you put in your body because it will affect your way of life and your value of living. It will affect the decisions you make when it comes to nutrition. Loving your body is understanding that you only have one to live in for the rest of your life and that you need it. How we treat our bodies speaks to our quality of life. I understand that some people have challenges that will impact the quality of life. However, that shouldn’t be a reason to not love your body. Exercise and good nutrition and hydration are just a few ways of how we show our bodies gratitude. Our bodies have a lot to experience while we make it through the day. So we want to have our body in the most optimum shape so that we can always be in a position to improve our quality of life. We improve the quality of our lives by taking care of our body and loving our body. We also improve the quality of life of those that love us, and that we love. Rebuilding is what we are discussing on this episode. Rebuilding can be scary. It can feel like a very long process and that is why it’s best to approach rebuilding with flexibility and balance. Embrace the Feelings. We normally tend to deny the negative emotions and run away from them. See the Bigger Picture. ...Think of the worse once. ...Remove those who are trying to bring you down. Connect to who’s positive and who shares similar views that you do. Reinforce and mange your expectations as well as your energy.

Be compassionate to yourself and focus on self-love. Give yourself permission to rebuild and be patient. Show yourself grace through this process. Be transparent with yourself so that you can process your feelings accordingly. Strong people ask for help because they understand that it makes them stronger in the long run. Rebuilding allow for me to take my power back and to regain control of my life. Treat yourself and face your fears and responsibilities.
