  • What Happened To You?

Inspired by Oprah Winfrey's and Bruce Perry's book, "What Happened to You?' I asked and answered this question of myself. I discovered voluntarily and involuntarily my own childhood trauma and how it impacts the decisions I have made as a bigger kid. Because what I know for sure is that we never really grow up. • Single Mom Diaries: Exclusive Insider Look of What It's Like To Be A Single Mom
In this episode I sit down with a fellow Single Mom who happens to also be a #BoyMom. I pay tribute to the Black Lives lost to Police Brutality and explain what justice looks like in different fact patterns. As moms of Black Boys we get candid about parenting philosophies and how we navigate this honorable role while still taking care of ourselves. This episode adds conversation to the reason LivingSingle, The Podcast was born which is to provide a community and safe haven for single moms to speak their truth, share notes, and let our hair down in the process. As always I appreciate you. Thank you for listening!

  • Are you a Daddy or a Super BabyDaddy?
Children should not be the super glue that holds a broken relationship together. A child will gain far more by seeing two whole, happy parents living separate than seeing two unhappy parents forcing a relationship.
