Life is not a race with self, or a race with others. It is simply a process & flow with deep internal work.
Performance Enhancement can come from within, while supporting ourselves with healthy people, activities and outlets outside of ourselves.
Comparison is the thief of joy; but looking to others to feel inspired, motivated and encouraged to forge ahead can be wholesome at times.
Tune into your own unique Tone. This is your journey. Your Race. Your Space. Your Pace.
Let's reflect together as we herald in the rising new moon and prepare ourselves for the Jewish New Year of 5782 with the wise voices and insights of Raizel Druxman and others.
To help us in our personal Olympics, @livwriv is offering a 15% discount on all services when you book any session from Today until Monday, 30 August 2021 @ www.livwriv.com
Living boldly and asserting self does not need to be at the expense of another.
It is possible to be kind and compassionate to another while not compromising self & honouring one's personal truth.
Balancing the consideration of Self, together with the considerations/feelings of Another requires a lifetime of work & practice, but that is the beauty of being human in this lifetime together.
To explore any of these topics in more depth in a customized session with Riv @livwriv, please book via our website: www.livwriv.com
Creating healthy boundaries and mapping the borders of self on all physical/metaphysical, emotional, psychological & intellectual levels is crucial for living and loving in a balanced way in our world.
In each of our Homes, Relationships & Workplaces - repainting the borders of ourselves will be an ongoing need in order to always manifest our best selves and our best lives.
Our real power lies in determining who has access to our energy...So when I honour and respect my own borders/boundaries, and then assert them confidently for another, I am further empowered to live my life and continue showing up with integrity and healthy balance.
If you are struggling with creating healthy boundaries, feel free to book a session at www.livwriv.com for customized support.
Happy Listening!

A Special Guest Episode Conversation where Riv and Sis Sara discuss how we find harmony within extremes.
True Harmony & Equilibrium are achieved through the holding and embracing of seemingly two opposite dichotomous paradoxical themes.
It is in the extreme temperatures and on the extreme terrain that we experience ultimate beauty and balance.
The Summer/Winter Solstices remind us that the organic flow of all things human and natural is to encounter extremes on a daily basis, and through the accepting of those extremes, we can ultimately achieve our personal unique harmony, while rising to become our highest selves - evolving, renewing & progressing lightyears and beyond.

Mirroring and reflecting through looking into our Mirrors of Life both literally & figuratively can be viewed as arrogant, vain & self absorbed; yet conversely, can be an expression of taking stock, assessing personal growth & evolution, and being responsible & accountable for the behaviours that we model on a daily basis.
In this week's episode we discuss one of @livwriv client case studies to understand by way of example how some of the concepts of the unhealthy paradigms of Mirroring & Reflecting can manifest in daily practice in the workplace.
Embracing our human experience, as works in progress & process, involves looking into the mirror bravely and vulnerably on a regular basis.

There are two main drivers in our lives - Love and Fear.
Acting out of Love allows us to flow and connect with harmony, sustaining healthy & wholesome decision making and choices.
Acting out of Fear is at best paralyzing and obstructive, but at worst hateful and cruel. Fear is not a sustaining driver.
Grief is Love with nowhere to go.
Despite collective fear, we can still learn to recognize with authenticity what Love and Fear - feel like, sound like, look like and taste like - as long as we activate our 5 mindful senses in the present moment to ultimately choose based on love and to continue to rise in love, expanding loving vibrations for ourselves & for others in all areas of our lives.
Thank you for the Listening Love. I hope we keep choosing love even if we feel it hasn't yet chosen us!

Life is a wave. Life is a dance. Life is a rollercoaster. So how do we build and sustain resilience for the long term despite Life's enormous ongoing challenges & rough times that threaten to stretch us to our wits end and cause us to snap...in order to continue bouncing back, dancing the dance, and riding the tidal wave?
Let's listen to some of the poignant voices in song & in writing of the Wise ones who reveal to us that to maintain the unchangeable core of our human resilient spirit, we are always engaging in a balancing act of courage; bravery; curiosity; vulnerability; patience; discipline, accepting reality while coupled with daring to dream & to believe; gratitude; love; passion; wonder, letting go of perfection; and embracing both light & dark.

Mother's Day is the upcoming Sunday, 9 May.
Mothering @livwriv on Riv's Rivers is construed broadly and is inherently connected with the Arts of Being & Giving, whether or not we are literally biological mothers.
All Human Beings in many areas of of our lives - Home, Relationships & Careers/Businesses - are giving, sharing, connecting, leading, teaching, mentoring, nurturing and supporting others every day.
However, to authentically and selflessly give (without resentment, energy drainage or expectations of what we will get in return), like Mother Nature, we must learn to water ourselves first and carve out solo spaces for self to breathe, to be, to recharge and to re-energize. Every day we can choose to slow down, to be fish or to be sharks, to be present and conscious about sustaining healthy boundaries with balance, while giving to ourselves and to others.
To honour all Mothers and Mother-Like Figures in our lives, wherever they may be on the Globe, LivwRiv is offering a 20% discount on any one of our varied services when you book a gift today, before 9 May. Sessions can be scheduled throughout the month of Mothering May but all bookings must be made before 9 May for the discount to be applied. For all information and bookings: www.livwriv.com

Like the phases of the moon, and the planting of a seed, Mother Nature teaches us that all of life - including our natural world and human nature - is a mix of both light & shadow, light & dark, shades of grey and many colours in between.
From the light moments we may win, but from the dark moments we don't fail, we simply learn & transform. The darkness may be uncomfortable but it is in those dark, deep & challenging times that we truly grow and learn to face who we are, revealing our resilience & the strengths and weaknesses of ourselves & others.
Fully loving ourselves and others encourages us to accept, acknowledge, embrace and celebrate all of our diverse parts & human character traits, including the dark stuff and the shades of grey. For only through this humbling honesty, can we ever hope to liberate & transform to greater light.
