When you become familiar with your surroundings before you travel into an unfamiliar territory, you will look for the best way possible to help you start your journey. Understanding your surroundings can help you stay focused on your journey.  Trust that God will assist you on reaching your destination because his word says in Proverbs 5:21 "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord and he pondereth all his goings."  

Throughout your day, you may be faced with many challenges that tests your patience. Taking a few seconds to relax your thoughts can make a difference in your daily experiences as you face challenges and may also help someone else have a better day. The benefits of being patient is priceless and God's word says in Romans 5:3 "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience". Let God's word and his presence help you overcome challenges when your patience is being tested. 

Where are you? This is an easy question to answer when you are familiar with your physical location. We now use Google maps, WAZE, or other navigation systems to help us reach an unfamiliar location. But where are you emotionally or spiritually? Are you on a journey of confusion? If you find yourself on an emotional or spiritual rollercoaster, God's spirit is the GPS that will find you and his word will help you redirect your journey. Galatians 5:25 says, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit" You cannot get lost when you are following God's directions because God is everywhere. 

God's word in Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." You have been given a special assignment to do the will of God and when you make a commitment to do what he has called you to do, he will give you clear direction to work with purpose. God will hold you accountable for everything you say and do so you must be mindful of how you interact with others. It has been said that people remember what you say and they also remember what you do, so why not "Commit thy works unto the Lord".

God has called us to honor his name by being mindful of what we do, think or say. Humble your spirit so you can glorify the name of God in everything you do because in Malachi 2:2 it reads, " If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart."

The work of the Lord is at hand so let's glorify him for what he is doing in us.

The choices and decisions we make always have an end result. What results are you planning to live with? God's word says in Isaiah 13:11 "And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible." God is commanding you to do the right thing, even if you have to suffer just as Jesus did. 

Children of God, if you are experiencing darkness in your life right now, it's just temporary because the word of God say in Genesis 1:4 "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness". God is calling you to follow that which is good. God is the light of the world and he is calling you to follow him. 

Proverbs 15:33 says, "The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom and before honour is humility."  Since the spirit of God abides in you, you cannot be broken because God cannot be broken. Circumstances and situations can only make you stronger when you humble yourself before the Lord. 

Love is a powerful tool. Love can make us weak and love can make us strong. Love brings joy and love brings pain and when we stay in the shadow of God's love we can get through anything because God is covering us with his loving hands.

We pray because we trust God. Whatever we pray for, we are believing that God will answer our prayers. Yes he will answer our prayer because we have the confidence to ask God for what we need according to his will. 1 John 5:14 says "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hearth us". Whatever you ask for, God hears you and he will answer your prayers.
