In only two weeks of the 2019 NFL season, teams sustain injuries that could have a significant impact on their playoff hopes. The New Orleans Saints will be without their futurer hall of fame quarterback Drew Brees for at least six weeks with a thumb injury and the Pittsburgh Steelers lose their starting quarterback for the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury, and will have surgery this week. Which 2-0 teams are true contenders and will the Miami Dolphins make history again....in a totally different direction?

So you say he's crazy?? Antonio Brown may be, however he was smart enough to get himself released from the Oakland Raiders without playing a single down. Even though the $30M guaranteed money is off the table now, if he can just get over himself he will be heading to the bank, cashing the same check, from the New England Patriots. NFL Week 1 did not disappoint....we had blow-outs, we had blow ups, record breaking performances, two overtimes and a tie!!

The NFL celebrates 100 years....and the 2019 season is HERE!!! The season kicks off with one of the oldest rivalries, the Chicago Bears will host the Green Bay Packers. This season will see elite players in different uniforms, first year head coaches taking the reigns, and questions about who will and will not be taking the field Week 1. Yes, there are other things going on in the sports world, but do we really care....because the NFL season is here!!!

Is 29 the new 62 for retirement, apparently in the NFL it is. The former 2012 No. 1 overall pick of the NFL draft for the Indianapolis Colts is calling it quits! Citing the continous looping cycle of injury, rehab, injury, rehab....has finally taken its toll. The question remains however, have we really seen the last of Andrew Luck in the NFL?? Will we finally see WR Antonio Brown on the field for the Oakland Raiders and we are now only 8 days away from the 2019 NFL kick-off!!

Welocme to LL Sports 2!!

When does the trouble begin to outweigh the talent of an athlete?? Are the Raiders and coach John Gruden beginning to feel 'buyers remorse' after acquiring arguably one the BEST wide receivers in the NFL today, Antonio Brown? First the outbursts (still complaining about former teammates), then the feet (no fault of his own....or was it?) and now the helmet?? And he has yet to take the field in true training camp fashion. Plus NFL camp news and still no sighting of Cowboys running back Ezekial Elliott.

Last season NFL players saw Le'Veon Bell sit out a whole season to end up moving to a team and getting his money. They also Kalil Mack hold out, get traded and ultimately got his money. Will Ezekial Elliott remain a Dallas Cowboy and get his money or will the Dallas Cowboys call his bluff? Kansas City Chiefs get an injury scare, but injuries are plaguing training camps all across the board.

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. says he feels 'disrepected' on how the New Yorks Giants front office handled his trade; does he have a valid gripe or is it time for him to let by-gones be by-gones? Also, Ezekial Elliott believes it's time to re-negotiate his contract, should the Dallas Cowboys consider the extension or take their chances on a hold-out from the running back? We are now only 43 days away from the 2019 NFL kick-off on September 5, 2019!!

It appears the players have asked, and the owners are responding.....with dollar signs!! The Philadelphia 76ers waste no time and lock up their phenom known as Ben Simmons....but have they pulled the trigger too soon?? Grady Jarrett and Robbie Gould are able to negotiate deals with the Falcons and 49ers, however the Houston Texans say 'not so fast' to Jadaveon Clowney....are we surprised?

Have you ever been more excited for an NBA season to start?? Well, I truly believe that the time has come! Who will dominate the Staples Center? Brooklyn's dominance will be put on hold for a year....but can Kyrie still keep them competitive? Can the young nucleus rally around number one overall draft pick Zion Williamson and make some noise in the Big Easy for the New Orleans Pelicans? It appears the Russell Westbrook era has ended in OKC, where will Westbrook land?
