Today on Late Lunch Ann Tracey and Aileen Emery from the Gary Kelly Cancer Support centre stopped by with their shiny award from the Pride of Place awards which were held at the weekend. Ryanair's new baggage restrictions and what to do was part of our regular travel and holiday feature with Globe Travel's Sandra Finegan.  Andrew O'Connor's "By Royal Appointment" is Margaret Madden's Late Lunch Book Club Book of the Month.  Ahead of the Mid-Louth Camera Club's Bi-Annual Exhibition the wonderful Teddy Caffrey popped in for a chat and what an interesting converation it turned out to be!  While we paid tribute to the late great Sonny Knowles returning to an interview he did with Gerry back in 2010.

It was April 2010 and legendary crooner Sonny Knowles after beating two bouts of cancer was going back on the road!  Sonny popped in for a chat and a song on Late Lunch with Gerry Kelly whose late mother Mary was a massive Sonny Knowles fan.  The connection and what it meant is obvious as the boys had such fun....
