Barbara Kelly, Gary's sister-in-law and board member from its inception, reflected on how it all began, evolved and the challenges it has faced down the years. The centres choir sang beautifully while Ann Marie Reid and Susie Barrett told what the centre meant to them on their cancer journeys. Ger Foran volunteered from the first day the doors opened, is still there and loves every day she spends in the place. Peig Farrell and Liam Reay are ace fundraisers, Caoimhe Callaghan provides reflexology treatments and Emer Quinlan is the woman charged with raising the funds that keep the show on the road.
