Back on Loaf 2, I had the pleasure of chatting with St Finnian's Vancouver main man and former Fermanagh goalkeeper, Patrick Quaile. Since then, I've been very privileged to call him a friend (and a fellow Red Devil fan!)
Recently, on a trip back to Ireland, Patrick and I met up in Clonard, Co. Meath, to meet face-to-face for the first time and do a little chat on St Finnian's Vancouver - from INSIDE the church of St Finnian himself - as the Canadian club head towards their 5th Anniversary!
After many months of planning it is a great honour to see Equator Gaels GAA in Uganda come to life! Through the work of men like Daniel Reid, the Pearl of Africa now has two GAA sides. Along with the main men, Stephen (Gaelic Mystery Kits) and Dan (Outfield Online), we were also able to create the incredible Equator Gaels GAA jerseys (which you can find online!!!!). This club is going to be one of the great GAA tales ever told. And here, Daniel tells us about it all and what is to come
On a recent cruise trip from Barcelona to France, Italy, Malta and back I got a message from Mick in Sitges GAA asking to meet. So we did briefly in the lobby of my AirBnB for a pic with the Sitges GAA jersey! And now, here is the chat we had when I got home! Find out all about Sitges GAA and all it has to offer!
From the global moments of Grand Slam titles, Formula 1 champions and boxing trilogies, to the All-Irelands, surprise managers, heartbreak and joy, right down to the personal moments which won't make most of the headlines elsewhere
These are my 23 moments for 2023. Get in touch and let me know what your moments were!
Another special episode, this time from the city of Gavle, north of Stockholm in Sweden, where I went a couple of weeks ago to check out the Nordic Championships involving Gavle GAA, Hillerod Wolfe Tones of Denmark, Stockholm Gaels and Stockholm Camogie, and Sandviken GAA. Find out about the craic, the games, me running a media room in
This is hopefully a two-part podcast where myself and guests Chris (Mayo/Taiwan) and Jordan (originally USA, now Taiwan) chat about life in the Asian GAA and Taiwan Celts. But there is something more to this chat - a GAA documentary about Derek Brady and his tragically short but impactful life in Asia. This one is very much about Legacy.
We hope to chat again in March next year

A quick chat with the legend herself, Sunday Game presenter, Jacqui Hurley, to talk a little about football 2023 and life in the hot seat!
Did you know that a man from Down scored the first hattrick in GAA in Wembley? This short episode tells a little about Wembley and GAA but mostly from the history point of the records of the great Laois-born broadcaster, Mick Dunne, and his efforts to improve the annual GAA event in England's soccer home through correspondents near and far. With thanks to Lily, Moira, Una and Eileen Dunne for allowing me into their family home and the treasure throve of Mick Dunne's museum-worthy GAA archive.
