As we wrap up our summer chasing Paul through his ministry in Acts, we can see that the story isn't really about Paul. It's about the spreading of the Gospel. And the story doesn't end with Paul.

People's response to your faith in Jesus is not your responsibility. We need to speak the truth, pray specific prayers for specific people, and let God change their hearts.

Even in difficulty, Paul followed the Lord, did the right thing, and knew the Lord was with him. What would you do if you were convinced that the Lord was with you no matter what?

The message of Jesus is powerful and changes people. It's not rhetoric or storytelling. It's life-changing! Don't allow your faith to become stale. Seek fresh faith daily.

Paul continued to trust God and know He was in control even when the world around him seemed to be telling him differently. Paul was clear and confident about his faith in God.

When Paul visited Timothy's town, he heard of Timothy's reputation and offered him a chance to be part of the mission. Your reputation could lead to an invitation that leads to your vocation.

Paul's first missionary journey wasn't glamorous, with hotels and miracles each day. Somedays were difficult, and he had to lean into God's guidance and find some grit to push through. We can learn about getting through tough seasons from Paul's first mission.

We live in a broken world, but when we keep our eyes on Jesus, we can trust that God's plan will prevail.
