LOCAL CHURCH

This message from Caleb Groeneweg is a call to move beyond spiritual stagnation and step into true maturity in Christ, rooted in the invitation of Hebrews 6 to go deeper into Jesus, not past Him.

It explores how maturity isn’t about knowledge or activity but about becoming more like Christ, as the Holy Spirit forms us through Scripture, community, and even seasons of refinement. Rather than chasing spiritual highs, we’re invited to know God’s ways, lay aside what holds us back, and take intentional steps of surrender and obedience. Ultimately, this is about becoming a people who reflect Jesus to the world, pressing on toward the fullness of who He’s calling us to be.

“For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever.” (Romans 11:36)

Our Pastors, Caleb & Alex share the Vision for our church this year, how God is inviting us to "...go onto maturity." (Hebrews 6:1) together and some of the things the Holy Spirit is leading us into at Local.

Jadyn shares a message finalizing our Check Your Heart Series challenging us with a simple question: What do you treasure?

He shares practically about how we're called to handle money well and how we're to die to self in the area of our wallets and wealth.

Alex shares about how control can become an idol in our life in trying to take our own lives in our hands and as a result fear stepping out of our comfort zones to where God may be leading. She encourages us to hand control back to God in the fear of the Lord and allow Him to be King in our lives again.

Crispin shares from Matthew 20:20-28 and challenges us to ask ourselves what do we really want from closeness to Jesus and how we can avoid the temptation of status or power.

Caleb unpacks the importance of Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and what it means to love God with all our heart, soul & strength. February 2026, 1st Sunday Communion Message.

Tyler unpacks the need for us to lay down the idol of comfort & apathy and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

Caleb launches our new teaching series, Check Your Heart, and unpacks how God calls us to have no other gods before Him and to be those who love & follow Him wholeheartedly.

Caleb encourages us to Lean In to God and all that He has for us in 2026!
