Rosalyn Sales, the director of economic development for the Clarke-Mobile Gas District, died suddenly on Jan. 6 at a conference promoting the local area to the timber industry. Sales, 61, a prominent economic developer for Clarke and Washington counties, was found dead in her room at Gulf State Park Lodge in Gulf Shores during the Alabama Forestry Association seminar.
