LOCAL: Food drive set for 'Battle Axe' game this coming Friday
A food drive will be conducted during the “Battle Axe” game between Pipestone Area and Luverne set for Friday, Sept. 26, at Paulsen Athletic Field. Dahl Motors of Pipestone and Papik Motors of Luverne are serving as the drive’s co-sponsors. Bring a non-perishable food item to the “Battle Axe” game. Boxes will be placed near the south entrance. The food drive will benefit your community’s food shelf, and claim victory. For information, call event coordinator Peyton Elbers at 1-507-215-2322.
