Contranistas are an instrumental duo from Bakersfield CA.

Employing guitar looping pedals and a variety of effects/devices/found items, theirs is a sound rooted in post-punk energy and inspired by all things loud, noisy, ambient, gloomy, heavy and low.

Fawns of Love create hauntingly melancholic dream pop that satisfies a yearning in the chilling deep recesses of human consciousness. Bakersfield’s favorite wife and husband post-punk duo joins Mikee and Jordan on Local Rock Stars.
