LOCALY Podcast

In this episode, we introduce the LOCALY project, launched in 2024 to empower young people to mitigate environmental problems within their local communities, develop tools for local change and train youth workers across four countries—Spain, Greece, Germany, and Italy. Our guests, junior youth workers, share firsthand insights into the project's implementation, the challenges they've faced, and the impactful moments they've encountered in diverse European communities. Tune in for an inspiring discussion on the different approaches and local contexts shaping this initiative.

In this episode, we explore Climate Emotions—the complex feelings tied to perceptions of climate change—and their impact on youth workers. Our guests share personal experiences from diverse geographic backgrounds, discussing how these emotions shape their work and the young people they support. The conversation also highlights practical strategies for navigating climate anxiety and transforming emotions into meaningful action.
