Matthew Layton and Sam Rickard present Studio 1 - Vision Australia Radio’s weekly look at life from a low vision and blind point of view.
This week…
We’re eighteen months into the COVID -19 pandemic and it seems we’re still a long way from the light at the end of the tunnel.
In the last month, 13 million Australians have been subject to some sort of lockdown.
As we go to air, Queensland have extended their lockdown until 8th August and in New South Wales, where there is no end to the current lockdown in sight, the army are patrolling the streets making sure that people obey the rules
So over the next few weeks on Studio 1, we’re going to check in on a couple of people who live with low vision or blindness to see how they’re coping - and we’re going to see if we can get some advice from those in the know about how to survive extended periods of lockdown
This week’s guest is Melbourne resident Adua Merula Rosso.
If you’d like to get in touch to tell us how you’re coping - or to pass on any handy tips that you think may be of use to anyone else listening, please do get in touch
Your experience may be of help to someone else going through the same thing.
