Today's Lockdown Listen features organist RUSSELL HOLMES. I cannot for the life of me think of the reason or circumstances as to why I asked Russell the opening question in this 1999 telephone interview/conversation. At the time he had just released a recording on the 3/18 ex Ritz Luton Wyton House Wurlitzer with an interesting background story. What I do remember is the level of research and preparation that the artist did for the programme and, to this day, have rarely met anyone who was so eloquent in his answers to questions.
