The team sits down with Alex McKellar, the man behind Sunday Night Lights, the Strength of field race for Formula Skip Braber in iRacing, and Top Split TV. We have a chat about the story that got Alex to the point he currently finds himself in his life, including video games, sports, and mixed martial arts. We get to hear how a boy from Bathurst who has never been to the Bathurst 1000 got into motorsports and how that has shaped his life.

Alex then tells how Sunday night lights, formally Monday night lights, came about and how it came to fall on him to look after all these years later. There are many stories here about some of the best drivers in the world coming through the series and how the best Skip Barber drivers have found themselves battling it out week after week in the strength of the field, which is now bordering on 5000 each week.

We then get to hear the story behind Top Split TV and the friendship formed between themselves and Team Milo to create a wall of green at the front of the Ozicar Formula series every week. Finally, we get a taste of what it is like to broadcast for iRacing and what is to come in that respect for Top Split TV.

In this weeks interview, we have a chat with Twitch sensation Daniel Gray. We talk to Daniel about so much and barely stop laughing the whole way through. Daniel tells us about how and why he got into streaming iRacing on twitch and what hurdles he had to overcome there. He also discusses how his community and the amazing people he has met along the way are the real reason he continues to do it almost every day. Finally, Daniel has a chat about some of the people that have influenced him along the journey and the experience of then having those people join his stream and praise him for his great work.

It wasn't just Daniel's twitch presence that got us talking, Daniel is from Bathurst, and we look at what it is like to grow up in a town that has such an important racing icon in its very own backyard. Daniel fills us in on some of the iconic moments he has been a part of at Bathurst over the years and how fast you can take the dipper when hunting for a McFlurry.

We chat about what we have been doing in week 13, which, once again, includes a lot of Formula Vee chat. This week, we talk to the man who seems to be the busiest person in sim racing, Aiden Schulz. We chat to Aiden about his history of real-life racing, from karts right up to coaching people new to racing on what to do and expect. Then, we chat about how COVID destroyed that business, leading him down the path of sim racing. We follow the journey he took from sim racer to commentator, to broadcasting network to league organiser and just how hard it is to balance that on a day to day basis.

Finally, we look at what Aiden has accomplished with the in2sim esports network and the current switch up series with drivers competing in multiple cars and styles to see who is the best all-around driver over a 12 week season. Some great discussions in the interview, so I hope you all enjoy it.

This week we have Brady Baldwin on the show to talk about the Oceanic Dirt Sim events league that has just gone into hiatus after the driving standards seemed to drop right off a cliff midseason. We chat about the troubles running a league in the current dirt community and how that can change going forward. We also discuss with Brady his big accident that was so close to leaving him without the ability to ever walk again and how his recovery has been as well as the rest of his real-life dirt career that continues today, just not the driving part.

This week, Wilko and Brayden get to talk to Thomas Hinns, a top driver who is racing in the Majors series right now and being a permanent fixture in the V8 SCOPS series and winning the first-ever series of Ozicar. Thomas has been racing for many years and raced with and against some of the best in the scene. Thoams has a lot to say about what it is like to race at the top level and mix that up with his real-life job as a baker.

We also discuss the latest round of V8 SCOPS from Road Atlanta with him and what it is like having to pre-qualify for events like this where a second can be the difference between pole and not competing at all. We also touch on the #FreeMitch campaign that has taken the iRacing community by storm after Mitch McLeod got banned again during the week.
