I named this series after Kanye's "Freshman Adjustment" mixtape from the early 2000s. This was back when Ye was hungry and seeking respect as a rapper and wanted to get out of the box of being labeled a producer.. I'm feeling like Polo Bear wearing Ye in 2001 with my website and YouTube channel, so I decided to create this series to honor the old pre Kardashian Ye from Chicago..

Once a month I'll be tracking the progress, the good and bad) of some of the top freshman NBA draft prospects

In this episode

Paolo Banchero

Chet Holmgren

Jabari Smith

Jalen Duren

Kendall Brown

Kennedy Chandler

Max Christie

Caleb Houstan

Duke vs Gonzaga's showdown on Friday night lived up to all the hype and felt like a game in March instead of late November. Duke's Paolo Banchero and Gonzaga's Chet Holmgren showed flashes of what makes them the top two NBA prospects in this years draft class, while Wendell Moore, Julian Strawther and Mark Willams made strong cases to be 1st round picks.

We’re finally here! The much anticipated matchup between Gonzaga and Duke is just hours away… I understand this is a big game between two powerhouses in college basketball. But let’s be real. This is Chet Holmgren vs Paolo Banchero or Paolo Banchero vs Chet Holmgren.

I know this game won’t determine who will be the top pick in June’s NBA draft. But this game will feature the top 2 NBA prospects in college basketball and in my opinion the most anticipated matchup between freshman since Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins faced off in 2013..
