Northwestern put up a heck of a fight in the rain in State College, PA against the Penn State Nittany Lions. The Wildcats dug another hole thanks to their sputtering offense early, but the Northwestern defense kept the team in it. In the second half, Northwestern showed some life, but in the end, the Wildcats came up short to James Franklin's Penn State squad.
