Sean Payton updates camp player availability, getting a look at Jameis, McCoy, and Ruiz

Discussing clips from New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton's teleconference with local media. Will the team be at full strength as camp begins in earnest? What's the plan to get a look at Cesar Ruiz and Erik McCoy without a preseason? What about Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill?

Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas lands on the NFL's Top-100 players list within the top 10. Does he rank highly enough to carry a "prove-it" chip on his shoulder? Or low enough to carry the "I'll show you" variety?

The New Orleans offensive players aren't the only ones finding their ways on to lists these days though. Pro Football Focus ranked all 32 of the NFL's secondaries and there's a lot of faith in the Saints as lead by Marshon Lattimore, Janoris Jenkins, and PFF favorite Marcus Williams. How the addition of Malcolm Jenkins helps as well.

Cam Jordan's stats are more than meets the eye with in-depth context. New developments in the NFL/NFLPA negotiations and what they mean for some Saints.

The NFL and NFLPA have agreed upon (though not yet official) major adjustments including no preseason and an 80-man camp roster, down from 90. What that means for coaches' evaluation process and UDFAs trying to land with an NFL team?

While there are lots of negatives being discussed about the adjustments to the preseason and camp roster, would you believe that there are some positives for newcomers? Three new New Orleans Saints who stand to gain quite a bit of an advantage without exhibition games and a longer ramp up period to week one.

While Saints DE Cam Jordan's favorite stat is that he's sacked Matt Ryan more than any individual players has sacked any QB in the league, there's more to his 85.5 career sacks. These stats show that Cam has a clutch gene when it comes to getting to the QB when it matters most.

Drew Brees, Michael Thomas, Marcus Davenport, and others call out the NFL on their lack of attention to their own medical experts. What this means for Training Camp, ongoing negotiations, and the 2020 football season.

An anecdote on what it's like to work with a collective bargaining agreement, what it means, and why the players are right to continue to push for revisions and updated protocols. If all goes well, this week could be a huge week for undrafted free agents and new signings like Ty Montgomery, whose contracts may still be pending a physical.
